The role:

The Integrative Care Manager is an experienced psychotherapist, supervisor and wise mentor.  They will inspire those under their care to grow, learn and thrive while skillfully addressing the mental health needs of our guests. They nurture a collaborative community of professionals who embody mindful presence and support in providing safe, compassionate and evidenced-informed care.

The Integrative Care Manager oversees the coordination and application of all mental health delivery components of our program from pre-admission to aftercare.  As a member of the leadership team they support programmatic aspects of the organisation,  such as designing new clinically relevant programming, utilising outcome measures and marketing. They work closely with the Program Manager.

This position is expected to uphold the mission, values and future vision of New Life Portugal and requires understanding and exceeding the needs of our guests. Therefore, the role needs to continuously challenge the status quo and improve clinical care to meet the changing demands of the clientele and advances in the field of psychology & wellbeing.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Psychologist with 10+ years of counselling experience
  • Minimum 2 years clinical supervisory experience
  • Experience with leading cross disciplinary collaboration in teams
  • Experience in delivering holistic and mindfulness-based therapy
  • Experience in defining and implementing mental health practices,  approaches and mindset in organisations
  • Strong organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in systems theory and delivery
  • Commitment to a contemplative practice of minimum 3 years
  • Experience in community living
  • Interest is research
